AMD新的Renoir APU可能會搭載頻率高達1.75GHz的Vega GPU

隨著Renoir APU,也就是AMD計畫中將於明年年初發佈的下一代APU正式發佈
時間越來越近,我們也能夠從各個管道中得知越來越多有關於它的消息,比
如上周的AIDA64更新就加入了對它的支援,而最近它又出現在了SiSoftware
的資料庫中,其圖形核心的詳細規格也洩漏了一部分出來。
從這張Twitter知名爆料用戶@TUM_APISAK給出的截圖來看,下一代的Renoir
APU中應該會有一款搭載8個CU單元GPU的產品,而它的GPU核心頻率將高達
1.75GHz,相比起現在同樣搭載8個CU單元的Ryzen 3 3200使用的1200/
1250MHz要高出不少,這應該會使它最終的性能表現好上不少。記憶體支援
方面,仍然是雙通道DDR4,但也不能就此認定Renoir不會支援有更高頻寬的
LPDDR4X記憶體。
在現有的Radeon RX 5700系列上面,GPU的頻率運行在一個很高的頻率,
1.75GHz對它來說不算什麼難事。這一部分是架構優化所帶來的,不過制程
紅利應該是更為明顯的,所以也很難說原本頻率跑不上去的Vega核心在換了
一種工藝之後頻率表現會如何了,畢竟同樣基於7nm的Radeon VII上面的
Vega 20核心最高是可以跑到1.75GHz的。
根據之前的消息,新的Renoir APU最高可能會搭載15組CU單元的Vega核心,
至少有一款使用12組CU的APU可以說是已經確定了的。另外新一代的APU最高
可能會搭載8個Zen 2核心,也就是一個完整的Zen 2 CCD,看上去它的性能
將會很強大,至少比現在基於Zen+/Vega的APU要強上不少。
