AMD繼AM4消費級發布半年後所打造的HEDT處理器 Ryzen™ Threadripper
直接撼動了Intel在HEDT的地位,雖然是所謂的膠水封裝
將多個8核MCM拼湊成超多核心&一方面整個成本下降許多,整個平台建構起來
光是X399主機板 + Threadripper 比 Intel 的 X299 平台便宜不少
很適合預算先決的 HEDT 組裝使用者來組機搭配

打開後的樣子 TR4 腳位,目前消費旗艦平台最多針腳4094根
由於處理器重量非常重,裝的時候也要小心以免滑落弄歪了

Threadripper 1920x 跟 ROG Strix X399-E 開箱測試心得
Threadripper 全系列有1950X / 1920X / 1900X 三款
目前在台灣正式銷售的為 1950X(16C) $38800 1920X(12C) $30800
光是同等級核心數量CPU就比 Intel 的 Core i9 便宜不少
至於板廠的對應措施,最少都會推出一款來對應
而ASUS方面目前算是在X399準備比較齊全的合作夥伴
ROG 兩款以及 PRIME 一款,跟競爭對手板廠相比排開的話
ASUS︰ROG Zenith Extreme、ROG Strix X399-E / PRIME X399-A
ASROCK︰X399 Taichi、Fatal1ty X399 Professional Gaming
GIGABYTE︰X399 AORUS Gaming 7、X399 Designare EX
msi︰X399 GAMING PRO CARBON AC
偏好ASUS但預算沒到ROG EXTREME那麼高
卻又想擁有五年保固以及擴充性更多條件
Strix X399-E瞄準的就是需要多核心以及
電競遊戲用途取向跟擴充之間的HEDT玩家
Threadripper目前雖然礙於GF現階段的製程
4Ghz上下已經是頻率的極限,對於需要追求多核心
在單核頻率之間取得一個平衡4G基準的預算平台
以及高容量記憶體擴充跟多卡的需求
X399 + Threadripper 足以滿足 HEDT 以及預算平衡的組機裝配玩家
至於頻率要突破的話就在期待AMD下一次的製程工藝進步的技術了
