大家都知道Zen3把i皇打的落花流水
從Zen2開始蘇媽就漸漸的在吞噬i皇server市場
而i皇本來想用10nm迎頭趕上 但從現在的資料看來 i皇還是洗洗睡 或是先想想ppt上還可以

測試IPC部分 兩顆CPU都鎖定在2.4GHz
Milan的IPC相較Rome平均提升了將近14%

EPYC 7713(3.7GHz)強了Rome 27%
同為怪物級280w 64c Milan更誇張了

多核測試下 7713平均成績強了10%
雖然已經讓人覺得很屌ㄌ 但我們還是很希望發表時AMD能給出更猛的東西來

另外R23跑分 EPYC 7713多核87878分 單核1215
7713再多核部分 比3990X強18%
比i皇Cascade Lake-SP Xeon 8280L鉑金強76%
3990x的單核時脈比較高(2.9-4.3GHz)
所以以3%(1254 vs 1215)的優勢超越7713
但如果拿Xeon來比的話 強了大約18-20%(1037 vs 1215)
拿上一代的Cascade架構可以很明顯的看出Cascade已經老了
沒關係 i皇的ice-lake sp也要來了

但從過去的跑分看來 i皇Sunny Cove 18% ipc提升似乎看起來沒有想像中那麼強 似乎有點
難力敵Milan
而且10nm+的時脈比14nm++++++++++++++看起來不是那麼ok
比起蘇媽來說 i皇似乎在時脈根效益都沒辦法給出一個好看的成績單
這樣看來ice lake-sp似乎活得有點艱困啊
i皇最後的賭注只能壓在AVX512上了
7763沒意外會成為7742的後繼者 7742報價6950美元(規格最像是7H12但沒有報價)
剛剛我們看到的Xeon 8280l 鉑金級官網現在零售價13000多美元
無疑現在i會越來越慘
效能沒有成長很多 價格定位他人又貴很多
大企業紛紛投向amd懷抱
難道真的如u大濕說的是工程師太閒?
