AMD Ryzen 5000 Cezanne APU預告:單CCX Zen 3八核,沿用AM4插槽

WCCFTech剛剛放出了有關新一代Ryzen 5000 Cezanne APU的預告,可知升級Zen 3架構後的單CCX模組可容納八個CPU核心。插槽方面桌上型平台將沿用當前的AM4插槽,而採用BGA焊接的行動平台也將延續當前的FP6封裝。與此同時外媒還分享了有關AMD EPYC Milan和Ryzen Vermeer ES CPU的消息。
首先與採用Zen 2 架構的三代Ryzen 4000 Renoir APU 相比,升級Zen 3 架構的Ryzen 5000“Cezanne”APU將迎來綜合設計性能的顯著提升,且單個CCX模組就可容納8個核心。其次近期上市的Ryzen 4000 APU 已經採用了單晶片的整體設計,但內部仍由兩組CCX組成(每組都是四核+ 4MB L3快取)。
目前尚不清楚Ryzen 5000 系列APU的快取是否和4000 系列一樣大,此外即便與採用Zen 2架構的同代Matisse CPU 相比,Renoir APU 的快取容量也縮水嚴重。但是統一且更大的L3快取(8MB vs 4MB),還是讓我們對新一代APU 的性能表現產生了相當高的預期。
另外Patrick Schur在推特指出,其已發現一枚OPN 代碼為’100-000000285-30_Y’的Cezanne APU 。由Sisoftware資料庫可知。該晶片採用8核/16線程的設計。但目前僅有A0步進和3.0GHz的基本頻率,只能表明它是一枚早期工程樣品。當然透過採用雙CCX設計,AMD能夠將新一代高階行動晶片的核心與線程數量輕鬆翻倍。另一個好消息是Ryzen 5000 Cezanne APU 將繼續沿用當前的插槽(桌上型AM4 插槽/ 筆記型FP6封裝)。
有趣的是Patrick Schur還在Github 發現了有關AMD EPYC Milan 和Ryzen Vermmer 的工程樣品(ES 版)處理器的一些細節。由OPN 代碼可知,其擁有64核心/128 線程,頻率為1.5GHz、加速頻率為2.2 GHz,且測試是在雙路伺服器平台上進行的(總計128核心/256 線程)。
此外ZimogoretS 發現了採用Zen3架構的Ryzen Vermeer ES CPU 的新名單,證實這枚AM4 處理器的代號為’00A20F10h’,且已經擁有B0的步進。不過到目前為止我們僅確認了Ryzen 5000 Cezanne APU的設計。在上一份報告中我們已知其將融合Zen 3 CPU 和Vega GPU 。採用增強核心技術的它,將取代自2020 年4 月起登陸筆記型市場(以及幾個月後登陸桌上型平台)的Ryzen 4000 Renoir APU 家族。
總而言之我們可以期待採用Zen3核心的下一代Ryzen 5000 Cezanne APU將帶來CPU和GPU性能上的雙重飛躍。
