AMD正在為其下一代CPU和GPU設計大力投資的堆棧快取和小晶片技術
根據Greymon55的新傳聞,看起來在EPYC和Ryzen之後
AMD將以3D Infinity Cache的形式將堆疊式3D Cache設計導入RDNA。
RDNA2 中,AMD推出了第一代Infinity Cache架構,這是一種GPU可以快速訪問的快速
高頻寬的Die Cache。現有Cache設計可擴展至128MB容量和2TB/s頻寬。有傳言稱借助下一
代RDNA3 GPU
GPU將使Infinity Cache的數量增加一倍,其中Navi 33預計提供256MB的容量,而Navi 31
預計將提供高達512MB的Infinity Cache。
Navi 31 GPU上的IFC將分為兩個晶片,因為它是MCM設計,因此每個晶片仍然是256MB
現在最新的傳言表明Infinity Cache也正在轉向3D堆棧設計。因此我們不僅獲得了帶有
RDNA3的MCM GPU
而且還有可能在下一代晶片上獲得堆疊技術。因此總括來說AMD的整個產品線都將採用3D
快取技術,包括Ryzen、EPYC和Radeon。
