AMD下代RDNA3曝光:性能升2倍功耗超過400 - 3C

2022年對AMD來說很關鍵,除了5nm Zen4架構的Ryzen/EPYC處理器之外
顯示卡也要升級到Radeon 7000系列,採用RDNA3架構,首次採用小晶片架構
5nm及6nm晶片合體,最新傳聞功耗超過400W。
未來一代顯示卡上NVIDIA及AMD殊途同歸,兩家都會透過規模提升計算核心
增加核心面積、放寬TDP功耗的方式來大幅提升性能,只是兩家的具體實現方式不同。
AMD這邊的RDNA3架構顯示卡會使用小晶片設計
其中旗艦顯示卡RX 7900 XT的Navi31系列核心會採用雙晶片封裝
分為兩個所謂的GCD模組(概念等同Ryzen處理器裡的CCD),5nm製程
以及一個MCD模組(類似Ryzen的IOD),6nm製程。Navi 31會整合多達15360個處理器(ALU單
元)
512MB無限快取,分別是現在Navi 21核心的三倍、四倍
而記憶體依然是256-bit GDDR6,這些參數差不多了。
最新消息顯示RDNA3架構顯示卡的頻率依然可以達到2.4GHz到2.5GHz
FP32浮點性能可達75TFLOPS,這將是RX 6900 XT顯示卡的三倍
也就是說性能提升200%。不過這個主要是指浮點運算能力,遊戲性能還要看光柵性能
提升幅度約為150%,沒有浮點那麼強大,但也足夠讓人驚訝了。
RX 7900 XT的性能很吸引人,但是代價也不小,爆料稱其核心面積將達到800mm2
而且功耗會超過400W,畢竟性能越高,功耗就低不了。
