Arch Linux exploded after upgraded - Linux

As title.

Many of my programs didn't start .

And there are many programs run wrongly.

I think it is cause by "libpng".

The version of libpng is 1.4....

But my programs claim 1.2

For example, xfdesktop and thunar fail to display any icons.

Gcin and truecrypt refuse to start.

IT IS VERY ANNOYING TO FIX THIS KIND OF PROBLEM !!!

not a Arch user, but there must be some way to handle
the package management. Download the older version
and re-install it.

In my slackware 13, the libpng package contains:
libpng.a, libpng.so, libpng12-config, and some includes
or you can replace them manually

It is interesting that arch only disturb the newest

最近因為有so檔的需求，所以一直把一些程式變成.so檔來使用 , 產生so檔的過程雖然也不算麻煩，可是當.so檔一多，工作量就顯得太大了，所以就想用makefile來定義這些動作，可是卻找不到相關的語法，自己也做了一些嘗試，也不成功，找過很多資料，可是都沒找到，不知道是不是有人知道如何做呢？ ...
