CANON MG5370 on linux (ubuntu x64) - 印表機

因為幾年前買了一台 Canon IP1000 印表機
結果讓我這個linux 的使用者吃盡苦頭…
光是要讓LINUX 認到這台印表機就Google好久，
雖然最後是成功了(修改一大堆東西)，
但是對linux 系統不friendly 讓我對canon 後來的產品都怕怕的…

過了那麼多年，看上這才MG5370時，又讓我想起那段痛苦的回憶 @@"
在考慮要不要保險一點買HP的印表機…
google了一下，似乎這一二年有提到linux & canon & 印表機的文章
的都沒有明確的說到canon for linux 是否有進步…

不過我倒是在CANON的官方網頁看到了有提供Linux Driver的下載檔。

這讓我滿高興的! 有提供rpm、deb、source file
(我目前是使用ubuntu 64x的環境)

不過網路上還是沒有人有明確的說，MG5370 on ubuntu x64是OK的...
但為了實驗一下(疑？)，所以我就拼了，在網路上購買了MG5370。

昨天到貨後，我立刻安裝起來

MG5370 設定 WIFI連線

註：我的網路環境是 PC --- Switch hub -- AP ~~~ MG5370
電腦透過HUB與使用WIFI的 MG5370 連線

等到此畫面後，先確定MG5370有開機，且經連線(USB或WIFI)，
再按下ENTER鍵。

之後程式就會找到MG5370，經過實測在我這樣透過網路的環境下，
是可以正確找到Canon MG5370 的!!

做到這裡，真是高興，Canon也有注意到linux使用者了!!!

安裝完後，馬上測試了一張測試頁，正常無誤!!! GREAT!
