– 與Linux 4.19相比，Linux 5.10 LTS內核正在為Debian 11提供底層支援。
– 由於新內核的支援，exFAT 檔系統首次獲得支援。
– 支援控制組 v2（Control Groups V2）。
– 預設使用 yescrypt 密碼散列。
– 還有許多其他的更新，包括GCC 10.2作為預設的編譯器（以前是GCC 8.3），
LLVM Clang 11.0而不是Clang 7.0，以及其他許多更新。
– “open”命令現在是xdg-open的一個別名。
– LibreOffice 7.0在桌面上可用。
– 通過 IPP-USB 實現對 USB 設備的無驅動列印。
