Linux元老級發行版Debian的創始者，Ian Murdock於12/28自殺身亡

他在Twitter上留下最後的訊息不久，旋即刪除帳號
並且失連

目前已被證實身亡，得年42歲

根據他最後情緒化的Tweets
他在12/27號時因為與一名女性發生糾紛，而被警方使用暴力制服
扭打過程中內褲也被拉扯掉
最後以 2萬5千美金交保

情緒失控的他原本宣告要將事發經過公佈於自己的blog，
最後卻也關閉Blog，留下不明真相的眾人
