debian 有分三種板本 unstable testing stable
一直以來, 我都認為是三種版本
今天看了 distrowatch.com
http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=debian
突然發現 unstable 和 testing 的內容 95% 以上都一樣
abiword 2.8.1, alsa-lib 1.0.21, firefox 3.5.6, linux 2.6.32
兩種版本套件的版本數目竟然幾乎相同, 所以 unstable 和 testing 還有差別嗎?
我猜想目前
( unstable 幾乎等於 testing ) 和 stable 這兩種版本
等到 testing freeze 了, 才會分道揚鑣, unstable 繼續增加版號,
而 testing 則只修補漏洞, 不再更新, 這時才分為
unstable, testing, 和 stable 三種版本
請問是這樣子嗎?
