Google Apps開始向Lotus Notes搶客 - Google

Google釋出Google Apps Migration for Lotus Notes新工具，已利用該工具進行移轉的
企業包括Fairchild Semiconductor、Hamilton Beach、JohnsonDiversey及Valeo。



Google於周二（7/14）表示該公司已釋出Google Apps Migration for Lotus Notes新工
具，並成功協助四大企業自Lotus Notes移轉到Google Apps服務。

Google Apps Migration for Lotus Notes為一可直接在Notes上執行的應用程式，透過中
央管理的伺服器端進行移轉而不需使用者的互動；而且在進行移轉時，使用者仍可持續使
用Notes；可設定分別或同時移轉不同辦公室的系統；也可檢視追縱報告。

已利用該工具進行移轉的企業包括Fairchild Semiconductor、Hamilton Beach、
JohnsonDiversey及Valeo。其中，JohnsonDiversey將1萬名員工轉移到Google Apps服務
，Valeo轉移了3萬名員工。

協助Valeo進行移轉的CapGemini公司IT主管Philippe Bonnemains表示，他們利用該工具
協助Valeo及其他客戶移轉到Google Apps上，指出該工具在移轉時仍可快速及有效率地持
續提供郵件、聯絡人，及行事曆服務。

Valeo技術副總裁Andre Gold表示，他們一直在尋找可降低辦公室架構成本，同時改善使
用者協作與生產力的方式，採用Google Apps讓該目標得以達成。

Google已建立一合作夥伴體系，可協助企業自Lotus Notes移轉到Google Apps，除了
CapGemini外，還包括APPIIO、Cloud Sherpas、TECH、salvai及BinaryTree等。除了請IT
服務供應商協助移轉外，企業亦可自行下載Google Apps Migration for Lotus Notes工
具。

Google Apps Premier Edition每名使用者的年費為50美元，Google估計目前約有175萬的
企業使用Google Apps。

Google日前才剛宣布Google Apps走出Beta階段，而成為正式版，並希望藉以吸引大型企
