Google Earth: Strongly recommend 'Direct X' - Google

第一次逛這個版就來麻煩大家
真不好意思..

我下載google earth後
開啟時
跳出以下的對話方塊

we find that your paticular graphics card does not support Google Earth in
'OpenGL' mode. you are likely to encounter severe problems with Google Earth
if you proceed. we would like to switch you to 'Direct X' mode. Do you want
to follow this recommendation?
然後接下來就是要我選擇yes or no?

想請問一下
1. graphics card 是指顯示卡嗎？
2. 文中提到的意思是指我的graphics card無法支援Google Earth程式嗎？
3. 什麼是'OpenGL' mode?
4. 所謂的severe problems像是什麼？ 大當機？ 還是資料不見？
5. 什麼是'Direct X' mode？
6. 如果我按照建議把電腦換到'Direct X' mode 除了可以解決使用Google Earth的問題
但是會對電腦使用造成什麼影響嗎？


其實我每個單字都認識
但是就是不懂在說什麼
