Table of Contents

1.親自開發瀏覽器 (弄了個 V8，加速解析 JavaScript )
2.弄了個公用的 DNS Server (開起網頁時，DNS 查詢是最花費時間的動作之一)
3.對搜尋結果的第一條增加預讀連結 Prefecth Link (目前貌似只有 Firefox 支持)
4.自己做 ISP，提供快速的寬頻網路 (目前僅限美國，實驗性質)
5.打算以自行設計的 spdy 協議取代 http 協議來提高網頁下載速度 (據說 40% 以上)
6.自行開發新的圖像格式 WebP，取代 JPG (可加快圖片開啟速度)
7.提供網站開發工具 ex.Page Speed (鼓勵網站開發人員優化自己的網站)
8.幾年前提供過網頁加速器 Google Web Accelerator (說穿了其實就是 proxy server)
這個沒了很可惜，proxy cache 是解決原始伺服器擁塞的最佳方法之一

應該還有別的，目前想到的就這些

沒人覺得 Google 對網路速度 (正確的說是網頁開啟速度)
有著強大的執著力嗎? Google 到底在打什麼樣的如意算盤呢?

網路越快 能做的服務越多阿 你家要是撥接 打死也不會想
