Sorry can't type chinese since ibus is not working right now.
My ibus version is 1.3.7 and Ubuntu 10.10 with Macbuntu
I installed chewing and it worked for a while but it would just get stuck
I won't be able to switch input methods. I even tried click on the icon and
changed the input method but it didn't work. Also not with ctrl+space
so I decide to update ibus. I download the file and extract it to "Download"
folder and find the command line over here

however I still don't get how to install the new ibus since I am not familiar
with code. I tried "$ zcat ibus-pinyin-xx.tar.gz | tar xfv -" and change xx to
1.3.8. or drag install-sh to terminal, nothing worked.
Long story short, the chewing input method is not showing up while I try to
swich to it. And yes I did change the language setting to ibus.
Any way to solve this problem?!
