Intel 準備封鎖 Non K 超頻福利 - 3C

美好時光總是過的飛快,各廠商才剛宣布的 Non-K 超頻恐會成為絕響。
在不久之前,各廠商才剛宣布破解 Skylake 平台的鎖頻限制,確實讓原本漸趨慘澹的家
用市場帶來了一番波瀾。各家主機板業者對這個漏洞相當感興趣,不過由於該漏洞將會造
成一連串的連鎖負效應(e.g. 溫度偵測失效、指令集失效等),基本上我們並不建議使
用者透過該漏洞進行超頻。
對這個漏洞,Intel 的態度其實相當保留,表面上並未禁止,不過私底下已經開始對此漏
洞進行了封鎖動作。
日前爆發出來的 Prime 95 Bug,Intel 指稱透過 BIOS 更新即可修復,事實也確實如此
。但經由分析 Intel 所釋出的 micro code,可以發現先前原廠所使用的 Non-K 漏洞已
經開始被 Intel 封鎖,後續新版本的 micro code 將會造成 Non-K 處理器超頻失敗的狀
況。
不過現階段已經修復 Prime 95 Bug 的 BIOS 暫時未完全封閉漏洞,使用者還是可以更新
BIOS 來解決 Prime 95 當機問題。
