Intel回應製程工藝競爭:10nm高性能版今年問世大力研發5nm

在CPU製程工藝上,Intel今年還在使用14nm工藝,並做到了10核5.3GHz,這個工藝優化水平
絕對是世界第一的,其他代工廠在14/16nm節點最高也就做到了4GHz出頭而已。
對於廠商之間的工藝競爭,Intel公司日前在股東大會上也回應了投資者的提問,強調創新
一直是Intel的核心,摩爾定律是Intel工作的關鍵部分,Intel擁有全面、完整的路線圖以
滿足未來10年的需要。
Intel指出,當前的重點是加速10nm工藝量產,今年中將推出高性能10nm節點,同時致力於7
nm工藝的量產,此前Intel提到7nm工藝將在2021年首發,不過首款產品是高性能GPU而非CPU
。
再往後,Intel提到他們正在投入大量資源研發5nm工藝,不過Intel沒有提到5nm工藝的量產
時間。
Intel強調,未來摩爾定律還會持續,而製程工藝雖然非常關鍵,但重要的不只是性能,還
有架構、封裝、內存、連接、安全及重要的OneAPI軟件,這也就是Intle的六大支柱技術優
勢。
