PC不死:Intel將14nm、10nm的產能提高了一倍

PC遠沒有“死”。
按照Intel的說法,他們通過過去三年的努力,將14nm和10nm的總產能提高了一倍,這才
勉強趕得上需求。Intel分別位於愛爾蘭、以色列、亞利桑那及俄勒岡州的四座晶圓廠,
都處於滿載生產。
不僅如此,Intel稱,將繼續擴大10nm芯片產能。Intel高級副總裁兼製造與運營經理
Keyvan Esfarjani表示,這是一筆前途可觀的投資,且Intel步履不停。
今年,Intel的10nm擴展到了11代酷睿、Atom P5900(用於無線基站的SoC)等,同時10
nm SuperFin也問世,它實現Intel史上最大的單節點內性能提升,並提供與全節點過渡相
當的性能改進。
據此前消息,Intel明年初會公佈7nm進度,目前還在俄勒岡州、愛爾蘭的晶圓廠準備廠房
空間,以便為7/5nm工藝的量產做準備。
