英特爾Meteor Lake藍圖傳修正 台積電5奈米家族有機會通包?

台積電3奈米(N3)終確定在2022年下半正式量產,將由改款版先上陣,2023年第2季再推出
N3E版本。值得注意的是,先前供應鏈傳出N3首波產能由英特爾(Intel)、蘋果(Apple)分
食,然近期供應鏈盛傳英特爾生產規劃有所調整。
根據產業消息來源指出,由於Intel 4製程需要更多時間準備,因此原本預計2022年底量
產、2023年上半發布的第14代Meteor Lake,英特爾正評估採用Intel 4製程的運算晶片塊
,先交由台積電5奈米家族負責。
此舉連帶也調整委外給台積電繪圖晶片塊訂單,由3奈米改為5奈米家族,也就是英特爾
Meteor Lake採用先進封裝整合的運算晶片塊、繪圖晶片塊與連接晶片塊,有機會由台積
電全數承接訂單。
年初台積電已上修下半年5奈米月產能,每月增加3萬片,若英特爾新單屬實,學習曲線已
過的5奈米家族出貨量可望再飆高,進一步推升獲利表現。
目前全球晶圓代工7奈米以下戰場幾已成為台積電「一個人的武林」,對台積電而言,
2022年首季合計佔營收比重已達5成的7/5奈米製程,學習曲線已走完,隨著客戶、訂單不
斷湧入,毛利率、獲利貢獻也不斷提升,此外,據台積電規劃,3奈米將在2022年下半量
產,2奈米GAA則於2025年上陣。
在產能部分,據半導體供應鏈表示,2022年下半改款版N3月產能不斷修正,最新預估約
3.5萬片上下,低於預期4.5萬片,原定2大客戶為英特爾與蘋果,其中,蘋果用於M2系列
處理器,而英特爾則是Meteor Lake繪圖晶片塊導入。緊接著2023年第2季N3E將提前一季
面市,除蘋果iPhone 15新機A17處理器導入外,還有英特爾大單。
另在包括4奈米在內的5奈米家族方面,據了解,台積電已調升單月出貨量,上半年單月約
12萬片,至第3季時將達15萬片,為1年前的3倍之多,除了聯發科、高通(Qualcomm)超微
(AMD)與NVIDIA、博通(Broadcom)等多家大廠之外,蘋果預定2022年9月發布的iPhone 14
系列所採用的A16處理器,將採用4奈米N4P製程。
而值得注意的是,近期傳出台積電5奈米家族製程年底產能將再往上調,主要是英特爾委
外釋單可能有所調整,台積電已提出解決方案供英特爾參考。
據半導體供應鏈表示,英特爾用於PC客戶端運算的Meteor Lake,預計2022年底量產、
2023年上半面市,其將運算晶片塊、繪圖晶片塊與連接晶片塊等,透過英特爾Foveros先
進封裝技術連接整合。其中,運算晶片塊採用Intel 4製程,繪圖晶片塊採用台積電3奈米
,連接晶片塊採用台積電5奈米家族。
但近期盛傳Intel 4製程需要更多時間準備,因此與台積電討論先進製程轉換過渡時期解
決方案,在不延遲推出Meteor Lake前提下,可能傾向英特爾將Meteor Lake運算晶片塊也
先交由台積電5奈米家族生產,此連帶也調整委外給台積電繪圖晶片塊訂單,由3奈米改為
5奈米家族,再等待效能、良率全面強化精進的Intel 4再接棒上陣。
半導體供應鏈指出,2022年初台積電已上修下半年5奈米月產能,每月增加3萬片,若傳言
屬實,首波Meteor Lake運算晶片塊、繪圖晶片塊與連接晶片塊等大小核將由台積電全數
