Following last week’selease of iOS 14 to the general public, Apple is releasing a bug fix update today in the form of iOS 14.0.1. Today’s update brings fixes for iOS 14 home screen widgets, default app settings, and more.
Here are the full release notes for today’s iOS 14.0.1 update:
1. Fixes an issue that could cause default browser and mail settings to reset after restarting your iPhone
2. Addresses an issue that could prevent camera previews from displaying on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
3. Fixes an issue that could prevent your iPhone from connecting to Wi-Fi networks
4. Resolves an issue that could prevent sending email with some mail providers
5. Addresses an issue that could prevent images from appearing in the News widget
iOS 14.0.1 will roll out today to all iPhone users, and you’ll be able to update by heading to the Settings app and choosing “Software Update.” Note that if you don’t see the update immediately, keep checking as it may take a few minutes to hit your device.
