在果粉的殷殷期盼下，蘋果的AirPods2終於發佈了，一點都不意外的是價格也比一代更高，雖然AirPods價格非常不親民仍有很多人買單，蘋果也是靠著這個小配件一年淨賺近五百億台幣。
剛剛發佈的AirPods2擁有全新的H1芯片，除了支持Siri及續航時間更長以外，最大的升級就是耳機的無線充電盒了，因此售價更高也是意料之中。雖然AirPods的價格不是人人都能接受，蘋果卻也靠著這個無線藍牙耳機每年多賺近台幣500億。
據今日頭條消息，Counterpoint Research近日發佈的數據，2018年蘋果賣出的AirPods數量高達3500萬件，佔整個無線藍牙耳機市場的75%。隨著iPhone7取消耳機孔後，這款蘋果的小配件出現在市場上就賣159美元（約台幣5000元)，目前全球的平均售價也在4600元左右，即使已經降價也讓消費者卻步。蘋果商品的利潤一直以來都很高，據數據顯示，蘋果整體利潤都有達到24%，令人意外的是AirPods這種小配件，利潤更至少在30%以上，因此以4600元售出3500萬副耳機，再30%的利潤下來，一年淨賺快台幣500億是非常容易的事。
相較之下價格較低的小米，雖然使用者也很多並且同時販賣電視、各種生活電器及雜貨，也有自己的網路服務等多樣化的公司，一年的淨利潤還不及蘋果的一款AirPods。
