make錯誤 - BBS

我架了一台伺服器
系統為 Fedora 4
下載了 MapleBBS-3.02-RELEASE.tgz
依照說明執行 make
但是顯示以下錯誤訊息：

make[1]: *** [gem.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/bbs/src/maple'
make: *** [linux] Error 2

不知道要怎樣解決
請大大幫忙 謝謝

另外
Makefile中及make指令中均需要選擇作業系統
Fedora4應該屬於選哪一種？
