NVIDIA 344.11 驅動程式 bug - 顯卡

今晚更新完顯卡驅動後，

發現用K-Lite codec pack 搭配的MPC-HC 播放10bit影片會整個畫面變綠色



後來從K-Lite官網看到的消息：

The latest NVIDIA graphics driver has a bug that can cause playback to fail
for files that contain 10-bit H.264 video. This type of video is not very
common, it is mostly only used for Anime videos. There is a simple workaround
to avoid the problem: disable the P010 output format in the settings of LAV
Video decoder (or ffdshow if you still use that).



大意是說9/18出來的最新版NVIDIA顯卡驅動程式 344.11

有一個bug 會導致電腦無法正確輸出H264 10bit的影片。

不過這種格式的影片並不多見，多半只使用在動畫影片上。

解決方法倒是還算簡單

把LAV video decoder裡面輸出格式的P010取消掉就好了

我猜它的原理應該是禁止硬體直接輸出10bit視訊

而改由軟體轉換成8bit視訊後再輸出

自己測試後覺得兩種輸出方式的影片 肉眼看不太出區別

至於使用potplayer的人則不容易發現這個bug

(因為potplayer似乎預設就是要把10bit轉成其他格式才輸出的)

所以不會碰到問題






果然驅動程式沒事不要亂嘗鮮啊XD
