Drive PX2 是 NVIDIA 推出的新一代自動駕駛平台，它所使用的核心並未公布，
不過最近有媒體發現它比較可能是 GP106，而非 GP104，
也就是很有可能是同於消費級的 GTX 1060。
稍早前有媒體對於 Drive PX2 進行分析，揣測可能會是 GP104 核心，
也就是 GTX 1080 / 1070，不過眼尖的德國、法國媒體拍到了不同角度的 Drive PX2 實
物圖片，
估算了這個 Pascal GPU 核心的面積，認為它實際上更可能會是 GP106 等級的核心。
法國Hardware.fr網站估算黃總手上所展示的 Drive PX2 的GPU核心面積約為200mm2，
他們從其他圖片上估算的面積約為205mm2，也就是說 Drive PX2 所用的 GPU 核心面積在
200mm左右。
200mm2面積與GM206核心的227mm2相比略小，但與典型的低階核心相比又要大很多，
如 GTX 750 Ti 的 GM107 核心面積是148mm2，再考慮到 Pascal 是16nm製程，而
Maxwell 是28nm，
所以 Drive PX2 所用的核心很可能就是 GP106，按照之前的慣例，
這個核心應該是 GTX 1060 及 GTX 1050 顯卡所用的，類似目前的 GTX 960、GTX 950。
最後，如果是 GP106 核心，那麼 NVIDIA 之前公佈的 Drive PX2 部分規格也吻合了，
後者將使用 128bit 總線，4GB GDDR5，更符合 GP106 核心而非 GP104 核心的特徵。
