PCIe 5.0才宣布沒有多久,現在PCIe推進組織PCI-Sig就帶來了PCIe 6.0規範,相較於之
前的版本來說,新的PCIe 6.0的有效帶寬翻倍,達到了256 GB/s(一個x16插槽就能達到
128GB/s)。
據悉,PCIe 6.0規範會在2021年完工,為了保證它的通用性,其仍然向後兼容之前的5個
版本。
為了實現有效帶寬翻倍,PCI-Sig在PCIe 6.0中實現PAM 4(脈衝幅度調製)信令,而不是
NRZ編碼方案,並且還使用低延遲前向糾錯(FEC)附加機制。
另外,PCIe 6.0的工作頻率為64 GHz,而PCIe 4.0和PCIe 3.0的工作頻率分別為16 GHz和
8 GHz。
必須要說明的是,目前PCIe 3.0仍然是流行的,而PCIe 4.0硬件才陸續開始上市,所以
PCIe 6.0規範2021年完成後,相關的硬件產品最快也要2022年才能見到了,所以路還是很
漫長的。
