question for blogspot users - 部落格

sorry, my system doesn't permit typing in Chinese in BBS.

I am only at the beginning stage of my site and therefore the questions
probably seem very elementary.
I changed my site feed/syndication from full to short. But I continue
to see my entire post on the page. I am sure what went wrong.

Also, I downloaded sitemeter from "sitemeter" but the icon is located at
the bottom of the page. I wonder if I can move it to the side along with
the page index.

The last one is very basic again. I want to establish categories for my
posts but can't find the function under setting. Doesn't blogsport provide
this function? If not, what software can enable me to do that?
