如果你是要在Ubuntu下看一堆有的沒的影片
倒是很不推薦Real player

我自己推薦的方法是灌一堆Codec然後用適當的影片撥放器開：

* 先裝一票邪惡套件來讓Totem (gstreamer核心)取得大部分codec的支援
gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg
gstreamer0.10-pitfdll
gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad
gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse
gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly
gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse

* 裝一些好用的player
vlc （VLC大部分format都有內帶Codec，唯獨不支援Real）
smplayer （個人認為和Media Player Classic一樣好用 XD）

* 裝最邪惡的Windows Codec
倒Mediabuntu套件庫進去 http://www.medibuntu.org/
然後裝w32codecs (i386)或w64codecs (amd64)還有libdvdcss2

然後個人覺得看Real最方便的是SMPlayer，雖然一開始設定上有點麻煩

現在新的VLC有支援Real，只是效能頗差 orz
