samba35 - BBS

不知道有沒有人裝過samba35
之前是裝samba3 安裝設定都很順
最近系統重灌(8.1) /usr/ports make update後
沒看到samba3 只看到
/usr/ports/net/samba35
/usr/ports/net/samba34
/usr/ports/net/samba4-devel

我選samba35安裝
copy原本在samba3上的設定
smb.conf:
[global]
log level = 2
workgroup = Home
server string = Samba
security = user
hosts allow = 172.16.20.0/24 127.0.0.1
hosts deny = 0.0.0.0/0
load printers = no
log file = /var/log/samba/log.%m
max log size = 10
interfaces = sk0
bind interfaces only = yes
dns proxy = no
use sendfile = yes
encrypt passwords = yes
admin user = slinbody
[e]
comment = Xine
path = /mine
browseable = yes
writable = yes
write list = slinbody
valid users = slinbody

到/etc/rc.conf 加入
nmbd_enable="YES"
smbd_enable="YES"


#smbpasswd -a slinbody
#/usr/local/etc/rc.d/samba start

我在XP下輸入 \\172.16.100.1
會跳出要我輸入帳號密碼
輸入後都不行

#more /var/log/samba/log.nmbd 會出現類似
become_local_master_browser: Error - cannot find server in workgroup

#more /var/log/samba/log.smbd 出現類似

總覺得samba35真是一場災難
google上也很多人反應有問題，可是都沒解決的方法

最後，我改成share mode，總算是勉強可以用
雖然離我有帳號密碼保護 有一段距離~~

我在8.1上跑tmpmfs
傳檔案的話 23MB/s Cat5e的網路線 SATA硬碟傳資料至tmpmfs
23MB/s不知道是不是最快了 不過跟以前在IDE上傳檔案(100M網卡)來比 真的差了很多
