先聲明不是幫某一方說話,只是解釋在下看法
還是要舉這兩張圖來說明
POWER SATA 3.3V線路碰觸外殼

主機板1394被接到機殼前置USB,然後插入USB隨身碟

第一張圖,雖然是POWER出線去碰觸外殼,但是POWER外殼與POWER內部GND點之間
不是銅而是鐵,還加上一些靠螺絲傳導的接點,阻抗比起POWER輸出線與GND線短路要大
只要POWER沒有頂到OCP/OPP/SCP,就是被視為大負載然後持續送電,
產生發熱功率與電流平方成正比,熱會燒毀最脆弱的地方
第二張圖,主機板上的1394從ATX24P的12V接過來,但接腳定義與前置USB相反,
隨身碟沒插入時沒事情,當插上隨身碟後,從USB插槽將12V與GND短路
但是因為USB接腳、連接線、主機板上的線路都不是很粗的狀況下,
阻抗還不夠低到可以觸發POWER OCP/OPP/SCP保護,一樣被視為大負載持續送電
同樣產生與電流成正比的發熱功率,然後燒毀最脆弱的地方
POWER其實沒這麼聰明,只要沒有到設定的保護點,就會持續輸出電能
它才不管消耗電流的是工作的負載還是異常的零件,之前燒毀SATA接頭也是類似狀況
回到這個案例,燈條看設計,有些是吃5V,有些吃12V,另外LED控制電路(亮度/閃爍等)
有些是控制正電端,有些是控制負電端,加上耗用電流不大,線都不會很粗
假使LED燈組其中一條線與外殼相碰,依照電路設計不同,
會有控制器本體燒掉或是LED燒掉兩種,但假如是走正電的線路與外殼相碰,
就可能造成上述的毀滅性後果
個人看法,假如真的要裝這種東西,最好在正電上串上保險絲,且越靠近電源端裝越好
