ubuntu 9.10 找不到 xorg.conf - Linux

各位好~

我安裝 ubuntu netbook 9.10
覺得很好用~ 但在舊電筆裡~螢幕顯示變得小小一塊
　　　　　之前是在 etc/x11/xorg.conf 改設定
結果現在找不到這個檔案
我自己用 root 權限新增一個, 重開機還是無效
到官網討論區看到別人有一樣的問題
目前還沒有人回答怎麼解決
這裡強者比較多~ 所以來這樣問一下...
有什麼方式可以讓我把解析度改成 1024*768 啊?
不然目前都是 800*600

官方驅動我不知道去那裡載和安裝~我的筆電是 Acer 351t
我只是純使用者～　不是高手玩家...
顯卡是 Trident　的...

裝驅動囉，沒有xorg,conf沒差，xorg會去問hal

在Grub畫面用Recover mode, 進去後X -configure會產生嗎?
