ubuntu8.04 的terminal 有時候會閃白 - Linux

: finally i found the root cause
: it's just a problem of configuration
: normally you will get into this problem if
: 1. you use Nvinda
: and
: 2. you turn on compiz

: i fix this by
: $>sudo nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-glx-visuals
: then restart Xwindow
: i am not pretty sure the problem is fixed
: but now i have tried for 5 min ,
: the terminal works correctly now

: you can give it a try

i think this problem in Gnome-terminal is related to PCMANX

i have reported a bug in launchpad
