大家好，因為硬碟空間不太夠，
去年過年趁折價買了WD My Book 8TB
拆開後8TB拆來裝上PC，硬碟外接盒接上小一點的硬碟來用
型號WD80EZAZ

發現似乎從某個時期開始WD My Book就為了省錢(?)而沒有硬碟燈
於是開始加裝，並廢除硬碟加密來接上其他硬碟
(文章內有英文是為了外國朋友也可以參考此文改造)

WD My Book 8TB Adding LED activity light
先來看主板LED位置 使用3mm 白光LED
R90 (180 ohms) 限流電阻 LED current limit resistor
D1 - LED腳位 (上正極 下負極)
D1 - LED PIN (POSITIVE on the top, negative for the bottom)

已拆除硬碟加密晶片(Winbond W25x20CLV 16MB SPI Flash)，其位置用來裝LED
Demolish Winbond W25x20CLV 16MB SPI Flash to allow us to attach hard drives
other than WDs, taking the position to install the custom LED board.

用漆包線焊好LED腳位
Taking the wire from earphone and soldering it to the LED pin on the main

熱熔膠固定LED版後，飛線焊好LED腳位，LED熱縮管絕緣
我知道我的焊點很醜，錫線氧化然後懶得清理惹
