Windows Desktop Search 3.0 Beta - Google

微軟的office 2007系列好像是想半強迫和windows桌面綁在一起了
最近裝one note2007
如果不裝windows桌面就沒有搜尋的功能
不過聽說windows桌面的效能比google好!?
而且index建的很快，空間很小
請問有人比較過哪個比較快,比較小嗎?
有人知道除了office2007以外還有任何WDS3.0的介面嗎?

The latest available version of WDS 3.0 is an engine preview of WDS 3.0 Beta.
This beta currently supports searching from desktop programs such as Outlook
2007 and OneNote 2007. However, this release does not provide a full desktop
search experience. Therefore, we do not encourage users of earlier versions
of WDS to upgrade to WDS 3.0 Beta unless Outlook 2007, OneNote 2007, or
another program directs users to upgrade. The next beta release of WDS 3.0 is
expected to include end-user user interface (UI) to enable searching over all
the indexed content from a single area.
