情報完整內文：A little while ago, screenshots of Microsoft’s next big OS re
lease, Windows 11, leaked to the web, showing off bits of what the CEO of th
e firm called the biggest update to the offering in “a decade”. Windows 11
brings with it a massive UI refresh and the screenshots reveal that the fir
m has borrowed a great deal from its now-defunct offering, Windows 10X.

Now, ISOs for Windows 11 build 21996.1 have also leaked, allowing users to t
ake a look at the upcoming OS for themselves. The setup process confirms the
Windows 11 name and suggests that Microsoft will be sticking to the usual H
ome and Pro SKUs. The build seems to be last updated on May 30, so it is pos
sible that more changes have been made to the OS since then.

Windows 11 also features a brand new OOBE (out-of-the-box experience) that r
esembles that of Windows 10X, though, there are bits of the setup that remai
n unchanged from Windows 8. The Start menu is now centered and does away wit
h the live tiles for static icons. For those wondering, yes, we have got our
hands on the ISO and we will be posting the first look shortly. The ISO is
available on the web for those who look hard enough.

Microsoft is holding a virtual event where it will officially announce Windo
ws 11. Windows Insiders will be the first to test the OS before it makes it
to the general public later this fall. Though the leaked build does offer a
look into the changes, there is a lot that is yet unknown, such as whether t
here will be a Windows 10 version 21H2 and what the update and support lifec
ycles look like.
