其實amd在縮人力這塊真的蠻神奇的
我以前那個部門vp底下只剩下一個director 2012好像五個以上
2012年底裁惹兩三成去年大概又有七成賣給synopsys
現在還在amd的整組大概只剩作GDDR5為主
然後作gddr5的也都很怕哪天這東西不用惹全部裁光光
所以前陣子又一票人跑去nv

當然我們部門不是cpu 核心就是惹是作那些類比電路的QQ

amd大概2013年開始搞一招
就是狂用約聘用完就丟
然後這些約聘又有一堆是sony M$出的錢還有GG&GF出的人
amd比較黑心的一點就是sony M$出錢做出來的東西
拿去放在amd其他產品裡面
現在amd也是在幹這種把戲

還有一個八卦就是
那個amd 的28nm arm 西雅圖
幾乎全部都是買外面的ip
可是因為用惹一堆小廠雜牌品質不佳支援又差
結果一直delay
去年高層想通惹才去改找像synopsys這樣的ip大廠
然後順便把一堆人跟不怎麼樣的技術賣給synopsys

當然現在amd跟synopsys合作也是有一堆大大小小的問題
不過這些都還好就delay麻
或者是不爽自己作
反正know how都在 keyman也還留惹幾個

只是每次在現在公司遇到amd跳來的前同事
就覺得
恩
有點好笑
也有點辛酸
