先說這幾顆我都沒買
只是分享一下網路爬文的心得
首先 540s的主控 SM2258是支援LDPC ECC的
相較於前一代 BCH code 大概可以讓 TLC PE cycle延長到3倍

而530/535所用的Sandforce主控表明了有寫入壓縮技術
SM2258在官方 product brief 則沒提到
但從許多評測文以及intel官方論壇的討論
可以知道540s也有實現寫入壓縮
不知道是不是intel韌體特有 還是SM2258本來就有

上面兩個的寫入縮小還必須考慮到可能是評測用的workload造成的結果
因為評測時通常是連續大檔寫入,此時寫入放大會壓得比較低
若考慮到消費者日常workload,情況可能會不一樣
530/535就是個例子

Write Amplification = 0.555x
Host寫入1.4T 比較像是一般使用者用過一段時間之後的狀況
可以看得出來寫入放大壓得很低
intel員工在底下證實540s有寫入壓縮:
"Most Intel Consumer Family SSDs use Data Compression,
this includes the Intel® SSD 540s Series."
最後,同一員工也有提到530/535的寫入放大問題仍然在研究中:
"As for the Intel® SSD 530 and 535,
we are still working on a fix for those about that specific topic (Write
amplification)."

看來以後如果消費級都上TLC
540s價格又有降下來的話
應該算是相對可以買的產品就是
