根據 BeHardware 的調查指出
某些 Sapphire 所推出的 Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition
可能會產生『黑屏』的問題
使用者在使用的時候可能會發現隨機性的畫面消失
AMD 則透露說這可能是由於 GPU 電源信號雜訊造成
不排除是因為採用了品質不佳的陶瓷電容才產生這樣的缺陷
對此問題 AMD 已調查了數個月，並通知其 AIB 廠商有關這事件的詳細情形
