光碟機改SSD完整步驟請教 - MAC

入手了2012 macbook pro 眼殘版 （非視網膜）
想把光碟機改成美光 or OCZ的128 SSD
目前想法是原廠硬碟不動 直接拆光碟機改SSD
並把SSD當做系統碟 原廠硬碟format成資料碟
預計進行以下步驟 ：
1. 拆光碟機
2. 換上買的SSD以及轉接架
3. 進系統先格式化SSD
4. 透過Carbon Copy Cloner備份轉移整個原本資料至SSD
5. format 原廠硬碟並作為資料碟
目前有幾個疑問 ：
1. OCZ的支援性如何？ 爬文後跟美光比似乎不多資訊
2. 以上幾個步驟後，需要特別的設定讓macbook知道
要把原本是光碟機的SSD當做開機碟？
