晶圓代工龍頭台積電今天宣布,採用極紫外光 (EUV) 技術的強效版 7 奈米製程,已協助
客戶產品導入量產階段,另外也預計 6 奈米將於明年第 1 季 (Q1) 試產。
台積電表示,導入極紫外光 (EUV) 的光刻技術的強效版 7 奈米製程,是史上量產速度最
快的製程之一,今年已於第 2 季開始量產,並且良率與一般 7 奈米製程相當接近。
台積電指出,因 EUV 的較短波長,相較於傳統的 DUV 能夠進一步讓晶片得以持續微縮,
且 EUV 製程設備在各方面也已達到大量生產的目標水準。強效版 7 奈米的邏輯密度相較
於一般 7 奈米製程,提高了 15% 至 20%,在功耗方面也能夠有所降低。
另外,預計將於明年第 1 季試產的 6 奈米製程,在邏輯密度方面將會比 7 奈米製程還
要再提高 18%,且因為 6 奈米與 7 奈米設計法則完全相容,因此可大幅縮短客戶產品上
市時間。
