會想玩這張版子,其實在於我很讚同這張版子的設計理念
1. 為了Audio而特別設計
2. Audio PC不需要高階的Chipset,使用入門的Chipset把價錢down下來
3. 照顧到廣大USB DAC的用戶,使用獨立的USB POWER
帳面上看起來很美好,但實際上到底如何,還是需要實驗看看才知道
廢話不多說,先來看一覽照

輸出端,獨立USB端子及音效端子有鍍金;顯示輸出只有HDMI,老實說很不夠用

所謂的USB DAC-UP就加上一顆RICHTEK RT8288A POWER SW,獨立給這個PORT供電
再用一根GPIO去作控制開關,可由BIOS作控制,這作法常見於NB的USB PORT

AUDIO端,特色是用OPA2134作放大,再加上SW去控制放大倍率,簡單說就是個OP前級
OP的供電另外用TPS65130提供正負電壓,算是不錯的作法;CODEC也用金屬罩包起來

另外PCB也作上簍空銅箔的設計,打從ASUS ROG M5F第一個這麼作後,全世界都在抄

綠光LED及USB DAC-UP都可由BIOS作控制開關 ( 是說中文化作得零零落落的=.= )

其他的就乏善可陳,沒什麼值得介紹的,還是直接切入測試的部分,分為兩大項
1. 針對這張版子的USB作抽載測試,用DUMMY LOAD抽0.5A,觀察電源的穩定度
2. 接上只吃USB供電的DAC,測量USB的穩定度
測試用的USB是大陸的少帥音響的作品,TE7022L配上ES9023的迷你DAC
這片DAC的特點是只需要一組5V,除了吃USB的5V外,也可把JUMPER拔掉吃外部的5V

測試環境:
CPU: Intel i5-4670K @ 1.2GHz signle core mode
RAM: AVEXIR DDR3-1600 CL9 4G*1
SSD: Intel X25-E 64G @ Win7 32bit Home
PSU: Zippy P1A-6200P 1U 200W Server PSU
測試的示意圖,加上DUMMY LOAD後再量負載端的電壓,開20MHz Bandwidth Limit

為了避免測量誤差,一率連續測十張圖後,取數據最佳的一張
USB DAC-UP Port, ripple voltage 140mV

USB2.0 Port(在PS/2接頭上那兩個),ripple voltage 124mV

結果號稱強化的USB DAC-up表現還不如旁邊的USB2.0,相當的讓人失望
(之所以會連抓十次數據也是因為這樣)
再來是加上USB DAC後的數據,同時用foobar播放1Khz的弦波,接上Philips X1當負載
測量方式如下

簡單的來說,USB2.0 > USB DAC-up > USB3.0
最後是來亂入的LDO,由於把USB DAC-up關掉會認不到DAC,所以改接USB2.0

認不到DAC的問題,GOOGLE查了一下才發現有不少人也遇到這問題,看來是會挑DAC
加碼亂入,手邊剛好在玩ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VI FORMULA,就順便拿來測了

常有人會質疑為什麼組Audio PC會選用比較貴的MB,東西貴通常會好在你不知道的地方
好比這張MB只有USB DAC-up可以開關電源,但在這一代的ROG主機板,每個port都可以
以上是數位端的測試,類比端由於我沒AP可以測,所以只好簡單寫一下自己的聽感
測試耳機:Philips X1
整體來說有比一般單用codec輸出來的好,聽感來說蠻輕鬆自然,這算是好的改善
X1算是蠻好推的耳機,推起來的低頻控制還是不太行,直接輸出能有這樣的表現,OK了
仔細聽也聽不太到低噪,但把放大倍率調高的話,底噪就會相對的比較明顯
這點是沒辦法避免的事,把放大線路放在比較多雜訊的地方,就會把雜訊也跟著放大
簡單的說:
如果是一般的使用者,接普通的多媒體的喇叭,的確會有正面的幫助
如果是進階的使用者,接前後級+被動式喇叭,那還是考慮DAC/音效卡會比較實在
如果是USB DAC的使用者,先改線性吧
最後再強調一下,我很贊同這張板子的設計理念,但東西沒能作的更好,實在很可惜
不過考量到他是低階主機板,也就不用過於挑剔
