在ubuntu上用Phenom II四核心的cpu - Linux

我的cpu是amd phenom II 955
然後灌了ubuntu 8.04.3後

我在panel上加cpu monitor的applet
但是他讀不到cpu freq
因為/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/這directory是沒有的
想請問一下這是正常的嗎

VMWare 或 VirtualBox安裝

想要用虛擬機器來安裝Linux 可是不管我用VMWare Workstation6.5 或者是 Sun VirtualBox 在安裝到最後階段連接網路的部分 都會出現錯誤 然後就會自動停掉我的網卡 包括有安裝過的驅動程式都消失了... 順便一提 我的網路介面卡應該是這張 Marvell Yukon 88E8 ...
