今年越來越多旗艦機種主打水冷,Pocophone就把這東西吹的好像很厲害一樣

目前手機說的這些「水冷」都不是水,也不會冷卻
改叫液冷也才對一半而已,畢竟這東西不會自己散熱

先講被廠商叫當水冷賣的熱導管(Heat Pipe)吧

熱導管由外殼、毛細結構、內部液體所組成
外殼大多都由銅所製造,所以基本上都叫做銅管
有些時候為了美觀、抗氧化會鍍上鎳
毛細結構的話,這邊拿刮刮樂男的影片來說

因為空間有限,這種扁的熱導管大多都會用銅絲當毛細結構
用來讓液態回到熱源重新加熱,並且讓熱導管不受重力影響導熱能力
液體的部分就一些低沸點液體,用在手機的應該在40度左右吧
當被SoC加熱時就會變成氣體,快速將熱傳導到其他地方
在降溫後變回液體,藉由毛細結構回到熱源

用水也可以做到同樣效果,不過你的熱源要超過沸點才會有用...
然後是在ROG Phone上首次出現在手機內的均熱板(Vapor Chamber)

其實就是一片超寬的熱導管啦,原理差不多

反正目標都是導熱、均熱,本身並沒有散熱的效果
效果都比單純金屬片和石墨片好不少

但是不論是金屬片、熱導管、均熱板,都不會散熱
它們能做的只有導熱,散熱還是要靠手機的表面積
這些東西做的事就是把SoC的熱平均傳導到整支手機而已

所有熱導管集中在下方,那邊是這東西需要處理的熱源
然後熱導管將熱傳導至上方的鰭片上,由鰭片的表面積來增加散熱效果
把那些鰭片拔光只留熱導管是完全不會有效的
順便提一下電腦的水冷

這種水冷是不會讓液體變成氣態的,冷卻液的主要成分也確實是水
只是用液體+水泵來把熱推送到鰭片上,一樣是增加散熱表面積
好處就是鰭片可以離的很遠和不須依賴沸點(低溫時溫度比較好看)

而且用上銅管的手機也出現很久了
看看索尼的在Z4被教訓一頓後的Z5,這設計延用到了X Performance

然後XZ又學壞了,直接用螢幕散熱,然後就各種過熱了...
後來就把SoC置於背板那一面PCB了
