彭博報導 蘋果回應 Safari 騰訊事件 - iOS

Apple’s statement to Bloomberg:

Apple protects user privacy and safeguards your data with Safari Fraudulent Website Warning, a security feature that flags websites known to be malicious in nature. When the feature is enabled, Safari checks the website URL against lists of known websites and displays a warning if the URL the user is visiting is suspected of fraudulent conduct like phishing. To accomplish this task, Safari receives a list of websites known to be malicious from Google, and for devices with their region code set to
mainland China, it receives a list from Tencent. The actual URL of a website you visit is never shared with a safe browsing provider and the feature can be turned off.

保護用戶隱私和數據，該功能可標記已被識辨的詐騙網站。
啟用此功能後，Safari 會根據已知詐騙網站列表檢查網站 URL，
並當用戶到訪懷疑是詐騙網站的 URL 時對用戶顯示警告訊息。
在這過程中，Safari 會從 Google 接收了一個已識辨為詐騙網站的列表。
區域設定為中國大陸的設備將從騰訊接收詐騙網站列表。
用戶到訪的網站的 URL 絕對不會與傳送予安全瀏覽供應商，
用戶亦可隨時自行關閉這項功能。

還好是虛驚一場，
剛好在近幾年全球對中國敏感的時期，各企業都要小心翼翼，
有些文章用“抓到”或“悄悄”的字眼也很怪，
因為這是寫在隱私權內的公開訊息，雖然寫得不夠仔細容易誤導。
蠻多人實驗跟審視程式碼後，都證實這是專為中國地區的設計。
