1. GDDR TSOP封裝. Data Rate : 200~500MHZ,2.5v
和桌上型的DDR晶片外觀幾乎相同.實際上也是...
顯示卡可以採用這種GDDR的多半也可以使用桌上型
的一般DDR RAM,除了Geforce3以前的顯示卡上很常見之外,
在後期的低階卡如9550,6200,6600LE等等也可以看到.
還有Asus曾經出過使用這種GDDR-500MHZ的7600GS.
2. GDDR 144pin mBGA封裝,Data Rate : 600~800MHZ,2.5v
Ti4400,Ti4600上可以看到.採用mBGA封裝後,高時脈下的散熱
問題略為改進.因此可以採用比TSOP版本更高的Data Rate.
3. GDDR2 144pin mBGA封裝,Data Rate: 800~1000MHZ,2.5v
"號稱"GDDR2,但是實際上不能跟DDR2混為一談,與其把這種東西
當成DDR2,不如說是GDDR的延伸.
用於FX5800,FX5600,FX5900上.但是有嚴重的高熱問題因此
並沒有繼續使用.
4. GDDR3 144pin mBGA封裝,Data Rate: 1000~1250MHZ,1.8v
最早期的GDDR3,電壓如同桌上型的DDR2降低成1.8v,
因此跟GDDR2 2.5v相比.耗電問題較為改善.
不過mBGA封裝的GDDR3,只在FX5700,6800GT,6600GT,
X700,X800上使用.
以上三種mBGA外觀幾乎相同.其實還頗難分辨的...
這兩種初期的GDDR3跟GDDR2效率上還不會有明顯的差別.
5. GDDR2 fBGA封裝,Data Rate:700~1000MHZ,1.8v
Pin腳減少為84pin,面積也比144pin的GDDR2小.
不過144pin/136pin的是32bit,這個又回到16bit單晶片.
因此在PCB上占用的面積未必較小.
耗電問題也因為電壓降低而改善.在7系列以及X1系列後
的低階顯示卡用的GDDR2應該都是這種.
6. GDDR3 fBGA封裝,Data Rate:1400~2200MHZ,1.8v
136pin,GDDR3屬於桌上型DDR2晶片的延伸規格.
(6.和4.的部分差異多少還在找資料中...)
7系列以及X1系列之後的中高階顯示卡所用的GDDR3
都是這種,而且效能也和GDDR2開始明顯拉開.
7. Hynix GDDR2,Data Rate:800MHZ,1.8v
和5基本上腳位相容,只是面積縮的更小.
可以裝在一樣的PCB上或者是配合更小的PCB.
8. Samsung GDDR4,Data Rate:2500~3200MHZ,1.5v
GDDR4目前只有Samsung發表過,雖然具有較高的Data Rate,
但是比較接近GDDR3的特殊演進版本.ATI X1950,2600XT,HD3870等
採用GDDR4
9. GDDR5,Data Rate:3200~6400MHZ,1.5v
衍生自桌上型DDR3的最新規格.
2008第一季以及第二季,奇夢達以及Samsung等分別發表
GDDR5的產品.而Samsung表示GDDR5將會較GDDR4省電.
HD4870是目前唯一一款採用GDDR5的顯示卡.未來GDDR5應該會取代
GDDR3成為高階顯示卡的主力記憶體..
