有苦主也下訂仍在等Truly Ergonomic嗎? - 鍵盤

下單後其實一開始我也沒特別去留意進度
直到今年二月才覺得有些久了就上官方網站再看一下
才發現怎麼還是在欲訂購的狀態, 預定地寄送日期仍然是在未來時間
當時找到國外的一個討論區就有個討論串在討論這可能是詐騙
他每個月都會寄送的訊息其實就是他blog上更新的訊息
其中還包括更改按鍵配置要讓鍵盤更好用等等的

另外關於退費那個論壇有提到有人曾經要求退款, 有的很快收到退錢,
有的卻被一直拖延

目前再過一個月兩周就預訂滿一年了 XD
曾經有想過要退款算了,不過最近又有鍵盤原型的照片 才想再等等
在三月中的時候我曾寄信要求更改寄送地點, 有收到回信說會幫我改 @@

也許他一開始就只有個發想根本還沒有錢和找願意代工的廠商
收到了訂單的錢後才開始去找人做

This is an update of our manufacturing phase.

Manufacturing phase

We are pleased to announce that have finalized the required tooling (the
moulds) to be used to fabricate all parts of the Truly Ergonomic Keyboard and
will be testing samples in a matter of days, making sure they all follow our
design specifications. We will go ahead and manufacture your Truly Ergonomic
Keyboard afterwards.

DIP Switches

As we mentioned on the May 2011 newsletter, we added DIP switches to simplify
changing the most common settings without the need to install any software.
They will allow, amongst others, for changing key functionality between those
required for different Operating Systems; possible, with the simple flip of a
switch.

This as well is to confirm the Truly Ergonomic Keyboard continues to be
reprogrammable, in combination with the DIP switches.

In addition, we ensure you will not require installing any additional
software to fully use your Truly Ergonomic Keyboard. You will only need
additional software if you require reprogramming the keyboard's behaviour.

Delivery Address

We will contact you again in the next few weeks to verify your delivery
address information and to provide you with an accurate delivery date.

This email is to provide you with an update during our production phase.

Manufacturing phase

We are currently finalizing the last phase to fabricate all parts of the
Truly Ergonomic Keyboard, this will allow us to produce final samples making
sure they all follow our design specifications. We will manufacture your
Truly Ergonomic Keyboard thereafter.

We were having difficulties creating a PCB/firmware (internal circuit board
and software) combination which would work effortlessly with a diverse array
of Operating Systems, like Windows, Linux, or Mac OS X. We wanted to ensure
the keyboards would not require the user to use complicated software which
might not have been compatible with all Operating Systems.

Because of this, we have decided to add DIP switches to the Truly Ergonomic
Keyboard. These are simple, easily accessible switches, which can be used at
any time, and by any user. They will allow for: changing key functionality
between those required for different Operating Systems; switching between the
104, 105, and 109 model modes; and remapping the functionality of either of
the spacebars. All that, and more, will be possible with the simple flip of a
switch.

For example, switching between supported operating system modes would result
in the key-functionality differences as follows:

Windows: Ctrl, Ctrl, Alt, Alt/AltGr, Windows key.
Linux: Ctrl, Ctrl, Alt, Alt/AltGr, Meta key.
Mac OS X: command, command, option, control, Fn key.

Delivery Date

Although we are approaching the delivery date of a breakthrough product, that
date can still only be estimated. Pre-orders allow us to cost-effectively
manufacture a more precise quantity of each keyboard model, reducing our
overall production and inventory costs and guaranteeing the manufacturing of
required models.

As you are probably already aware, we have unfortunately experienced
manufacturing hurdles which were out of our control, and were keen to avoid
any circumstances under which the quality of the shipped Truly Ergonomic
Keyboard might be viewed as unsatisfactory.

We realize that the initial delivery dates we gave you were premature, given
third-party hurdles which we failed to anticipate. We apologize and thank you
once again for your support.

Having said the above, we are currently estimating the pre-order delivery
date for early July 2011; delivery of these pre-orders could be earlier as
our primary goal is to bring our line of products to market as soon as
possible.

As a valued customer, we would like to offer you our sincere apologies for
this inconvenience and are offering you our gratitude with an exclusive gift
certificate in the amount of fifty US dollars, redeemable for any product
that we offer up to twelve months after you receive your Truly Ergonomic
Keyboard.

Delivery Address

We will contact you again when we are about to manufacture your Truly
Ergonomic Keyboard in order to verify your delivery address information and
to provide you with an accurate delivery date.

have captured a set of images, and have uploaded them to our website for you
to review them at your leisure. These images can be viewed by following the
new 'Gallery' link on our website at www.trulyergonomic.com

We have also updated all keyboard images throughout our website.

We are currently creating a simple video to demonstrate the major advantages
of the Truly Ergonomic Keyboard, and to contrast it with conventional
keyboards and other ergonomic keyboards. We will upload this video to our
website once finalized.

Manufacturing updates:

Patience is a virtue, and fortunately we have all had plenty of it. The good
news is that everything is heading forward, and that the light at the end of
the tunnel is finally within reach (small as a sub-atomic particle, but it is
there).

Favourably for everyone, our manufacturer is as perfectionist as we are;
seems we all want to manufacture and deliver a first-rate product with the
highest quality possible. With the only inconvenience being that this
perfection takes longer than we'd all expected, and so the unpredicted
delivery delays.

Estimated Delivery date:

As you already might know, we unfortunately have experienced manufacturing
hurdles which were out of our control where we were keen to avoid any
circumstances under which the quality of the shipped Truly Ergonomic Keyboard
might be viewed as unsatisfactory. We thank you again to accept these delays
as being prudent.
