為什麼挑power要選dc-dc - 3C

最近在挑power 發現大瓦數的power都會推薦架構為dc-dc
網路上我也看了些資料 但有點難懂
power分 磁性放大 & dc-dc
而據我所知pc power一般來說
前級架構為ac to dc (boost pfc)
後級架構為dc-dc 12V 5V 3.3V
也就是說每個power其實都有dc-dc的部份
所以到底 磁性放大 指的是什麼 dc-dc又是指的是什麼?
