美國晶片大廠「英特爾（Intel）」昨（29日）表示，由於10奈米製程延誤，公司新1代伺服器Sapphire Rapids的生產時間，將由原定的今年底推遲至2022年第1季生產。
綜合媒體報導，英特爾Xeon系列與記憶體團隊負責人Lisa Spelman在公司官網上發文，指為了讓Sapphire Rapids性能提升，公司將額外的驗證時間納入產品開發週期，以作出更詳細測試，為此該款晶片的生產時間將會推遲至2022年第1季，而大規模生產時間則順延至2022年第2季。
外媒指出，英特爾採用10奈米、7奈米等下1代製程的處理器已長期面臨多次延遲，如今又傳延期，恐再度影響英特爾的領先優勢。
上述消息一出，英特爾股價應聲下跌，29日一度下跌2.8%，終場跌幅收斂為1.27%，收在每股56.75美元。
