請問長期躺在床上滑，是ipad好還是mini - iOS

最近想買一台平板給爸媽當孝親機，因為爸爸常在床上滑5吋手機，所以依據他的用機習慣，是買9.7吋好還是8吋好!?
他都長期在家，很少出門，但怕說9.7對他來說太大，又太重、手拿久又會酸…之類，躺在床上好像無法長期單手拿‥
拿mini的話，又怕他看影片會不夠爽，老人家小螢幕看久視力會不好!?
所以想請問一下，我該幫他選擇那一款好!?
