還是噱頭 - GIGABYTE G1.Sniper Z5 - 3C

其實我本來沒有要這張主機板,至少Haswell的主機版對我來說已經沒啥吸引力
會去買來玩,是因為有媒體朋友跟我透露,說技嘉找了媒體去總部試聽作發表這張MB時
「在發表會說我是廠商找來的打手」
人家都這麼點名了,不去弄一張來實驗看看,這怎麼好意思╮( ̄▽ ̄")╭
來看一下一再改版後,是不是真的有比較利害一點

PCB 鏤空處,一樣切的斷斷續續的,不斷的小改版下依然沒解決這問題

CPU背面,SMD電容都偷光光,一顆都不剩,這張版好歹也是張Z87耶...orz

在外盒背面有特別強調鍍金15um的CPU腳位,但我怎麼看後面那張M6F比較像有鍍金=.=

PCIe及PCI插槽,共六根插糟只剩兩顆濾波電容,插了音效卡就別再插顯卡,保證衰聲
耳機放大使用TI DRV632(Line driver),不過就連TI也不把這顆當耳擴晶片來看XD

旁邊KILLER網卡的本質就是Atheros,就過往的經驗,我對Atheros LAN chip沒有好感
簡單嫌棄完,進入測試部分,測試環境如下
CPU: Intel Celeron G1820 @ 1.2GHz signle core mode
RAM: AVEXIR DDR3-1600 CL9 4G*2
SSD: Intel X25-E 64G @ Win7 64bit Home
PSU: Zippy P1A-6200P 1U 200W Server PSU
這次測試,順便統一把測試的時間拉長,順便用電流探棒把電流值讀到示波器上
確保真的有上負載,而沒有作弊取巧生假數據
先來測USB的ripple,有別於上次接地點選的不好,這次的直接夾在USB接頭的金屬外殼

出人意料的結果(可能有突波),不過單就波型來說,USB 2.0>USB DAC port>USB 3.0

這次不再是完全領先,不過最好的數據還是來自ASUS ROG M6F的USB 3.0
再次強調,測試或有誤差,但保證數據是真的(每項測試至少抓十次來確保正確性)
因為有朋友在跟我聊,希望能加測RMAA,多一些數據來比較其中的差異
場景換到自家,由於在測試時原有的插座被我焊壞了,所以就拿手邊的6.3mm來換上

測試數據,由於測試地點跟時間不同,再加上住的地方是老舊公寓,電力品質不是很好
所以沒辦法跟上面的測試作同步的比較,但我可以確定電源影響成份最大

測試結果,一樣影響的可能性太多,讓數據說話

就理論上來說,應該是要PCIe 3.0 x16比較優,因為他離CPU較近,訊號比較好
而且M6F板上的元件很多,在layout上很難面面俱到,但結果卻反而是比較好
簡單說,這就是技術
以往,我都會加減寫一下類比或耳擴聽感,但是這次聽了之後連寫都不想寫,也不需要測
兩者是不同層級的表現,一邊是完整架構的音效設計,一邊卻還在放大雜訊當細節
這就像職棒球員不會想去屠殺國小棒球隊一樣,沒有意義
最後,身為一個研發人員,我還是要說一句話
「與其只作噱頭與四處攻擊別人,不如好好研究該怎麼把產品作好」
